1. How does a digital sewing pattern work?
Templiq sewing patterns are delivered as PDF files within a ZIP folder.
Once purchased, your pattern will be available for instant download and can be saved to your desktop or laptop.
There are two printing options:
Home printing version – tiled A4/US Letter pages that can be printed on a standard printer and taped together.
Copy shop version – a large-format file that can be printed professionally at a print shop.
2. How do I download my purchase?
After checkout, you’ll see a download link on the confirmation page and receive an email with your files.
If you can’t find the email, check your spam/junk folder or log in to your Templiq account to access your purchases.
3. I’m having trouble opening my ZIP folder. What should I do?
On Windows: Right-click the file and select Extract All.
On Mac: Double-click the ZIP file to unzip it automatically.
If you still have issues, contact support@templiq.com.au.
4. Can I get a refund on a digital pattern?
Because our products are digital and delivered instantly, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges unless required by Australian Consumer Law (e.g., a faulty or incorrect file).
5. How long do I have to download my files?
Your files will remain available in your account for as long as the pattern is sold. We recommend downloading and backing up your files immediately after purchase.
6. What sizes do you offer?
Most Templiq patterns range AUS 6–20 (archival Kyotap patterns AUS 6–16).

7. What skill level do I need?
We publish patterns from Beginner to Intermediate.
· Beginner: basic machine setup, straight/curved seams, assemble PDFs.
· Confident Beginner: zips, buttonholes, interfacing, tidy finishes.
· Intermediate: fit adjustments, consistent professional finishes, occasional lining/drafting.
8. What if there’s an error in the pattern?
We take great care to ensure accuracy in every pattern, but if you believe there’s a technical or measurement error, please contact us at patterns@templiq.com.au.
We will review the issue promptly and provide an updated version if required.
9. Do you offer custom pattern adjustments?
Not at this time. Our patterns are sold in set sizes and cannot be customised before purchase.
10. Do you sell physical patterns?
No. All Templiq patterns are digital downloads only. This helps reduce waste and keeps our products accessible worldwide.
11. Where can I get extra help?

12. Can I share my purchased pattern with a friend?
No. Your purchase grants you a single-user license only. Please encourage your friends to purchase their own copy so we can continue creating sustainable sewing resources.
13. Can I sell garments made from Templiq patterns?
No. All Templiq patterns are for personal use only.
You may not sell garments made from our patterns, reproduce the pattern in any form, or share it digitally or physically.
14. Can I use your patterns for teaching or workshops?
Yes — provided each student purchases their own copy of the pattern.
Patterns may not be distributed to students as part of a class fee without permission.

15. Can I request a pattern idea?
Absolutely! We welcome suggestions for future designs. Email design@templiq.com.au with your idea.
16. Is VAT/GST included in the price?
All prices listed on Templiq.com.au include GST (for Australian customers). International customers are responsible for any applicable taxes or duties.
