Made for Makers. Designed for the Planet.
At Templiq, we believe sewing is more than a skill — it's a statement. A statement for creativity, sustainability, and slow fashion that celebrates the hands that make.
Founded on the principles of minimal waste and mindful making, Templiq exists to empower you with the tools to create beautiful garments — without the guilt of overconsumption. Whether you’re a seasoned sewist or curious beginner, our patterns, kits, and resources are here to support your journey into eco-conscious fashion.

Meet the Maker
Hi, I’m Fiona Buckingham — the creative mind and founder behind Templiq.
I bring over 20 years of design and education expertise, including a Master of Design by Research from UNSW and a Bachelor of Design (Hons) from UTS. My work spans fashion design, research, and teaching, guiding thousands of students in developing both sustainable and commercially viable fashion practices.
My design philosophy is rooted in minimal‑waste techniques and clean, efficient construction — from draping zero‑waste skirts to creating unique garments with minimal seams and maximum impact. I believe fashion should be wearable, artful, considered, and kind to the planet.
I founded Templiq to blend my passion for creativity, sustainability, and learning. My goal is to make sustainable garment-making accessible, help others find their creativity through fashion, and all while reducing waste. Templiq offers digital patterns and upcycled kits that help you sew with intention, innovation, and develop your own personal style.
